Good morning - Another sunny start but a sad day for me. It's the funeral of a friend who I've known for 50 years. A long drive to get there. Mrs mart can't go because of needing to keep an eye appointment at the hospital.

Good Morning....raining right now but promises to brighten up later.

Sorry to hear about your friend Mart, another problem of getting older is having to hear about the death of your friends and increasing the worry that one day it will be your turn

Good morning - A grey looking day but still dry. The now usual trip to the allotment this morning. I'll be going to see my brother this afternoon.

The funeral went as funerals go. A bit emotional. He was a good friend to us. I suppose we all have to come to terms with the inevitable but we all hope it's a few years away yet. Just a matter of keeping calm and carrying on.

Off to Preston for a look round and I'll buy a nice chicken madras curry from the Pakistani stall on the market....yummee

Good morning - Grey skies and certainly colder than of late. We're not going anywhere today. I'm helping Mrs Mart in doing one of her craft projects.

Enjoy the chicken madras Malcolm. I try a lots of supermarket sauces but none quite compare with those made by the by chefs from India or Pakistan.

Quite agree Mart, I make my own with all the required spices and although it beats most pre packed supermarket ones, it is never just as good as a takeaway
