What's on your menu today

I have been slow cooking a ham hock all day and will use some of the delicious meat tomorrow and freeze some to use in a ham and veg terrine later.

Just had two thick Sag chops with roasters.

Sounds delicious. I do a lot of slow cooking but in the pot variety, you know the same as uses a much as a light bulb. 

When we first moved to Spain we though we needed to eat everything Spanish but since discovered  we just enjoyed our British food. We do buy local meat and fish though and the veg. It is delicious.

We have Spanish as well , paella  fish cooked in sauces.

I bought a slow-cooker 2 years ago we wouldnt be without it now -handy if you have things to do.

I have been in the kitchen for hours....dealing with this morning's Aldi shopping, preparing our meal but most of all making my ham hock, chicken, chicken livers and veg terrine

Lamb meat balls with spaghetti  and side of spinach.

The other half of yesterday's braised silverside with low fat chips & marrowfat peas.

I had a yearning yesterday for bread & butter pudding so I will be making one later. Very rare for me to eat puddings. As a kid we used to call it stunge.

Haven't decided on the meal today yet....but this is my terrine that I made yesterday

Looks so delicious Malcolm.  

The biggest soft  custard slice but only filled in a small centre part with a sprinkling of coconut.  

Going to my favourite patisserie in Playa  Blanca run by a lovely Spanish women. I sometimes  get a freebie as she loves my Spanglish 

Nice slow fried Salmon with potato wedges with fresh lemon juice. Mouth drooling. 

Roast lamb with garlic and rosemary cooked by my daughter in a delightful cottage the family have rented in Betwsy Coed in Wales.

Fava beans and a bottle of Cianti. Best not ask  :;smile:

We had salmon and tuna fish cakes, with chips, broccoli and parsley sauce.
