What's on your menu today

No doubt we'll be popping in next week ..I'll have a good scout round !

I roasted a leg of lamb earlier. It is chilling now in the fridge to have sliced with salad.

It was delicious,but I really must buy boneless joints, I can't make a good job of carving meat off the bone.

Roast chicken, fondant potatoes, coleslaw and avocado salad.
Bread and butter puddin' to follow and a slice of lemon drizzle cake !

Pasta with fresh, shrimp,  mussels, calamari,  tuna but from a can. Not a lover of fresh tuna. Mixed in with vegetables and a herby olive oil dressing.  I crispy roll and fresh fruit and Greek  yoghurt.

Sandwiches lunch time, chicken tikka and coleslaw on the side.

Remains of yesterday's pasta later,   fresh fruit and my usual Greek Yoghurt

Stir fried lamb and veg with whole grain Mediterranean vegetable rice and Katsu stir fry sauce.

Chilli and rice with coleslaw, carrot and courgette ribbons with avacado followed by a slice of cake.

Just a nice ham bap for lunch  with banana crisps. They are scrummy.

Tonight, chicken, stuffing, green beans, carrots and mash potatoes and gravy made from the juices. Fresh fruit cocktail, soaked in orange juice, creme freche.

Chicken chunks battered and deep fried with egg-fried rice and sweet and sour sauce, for us today.

Canned mackerel sandwiches with a thick layer of onion.

Steak, chips, tomatoes, onions. Something we have occasionally.

Pork chops, coleslaw with chilli and gherkins and fondant potatoes.

Salt and pepper baps filled with roast turkey,and for me thick slices of onion,for 'Er indoors slices of tomato. I will have a couple of toms on the side.
