| With the enforced stay at home circumstances, I am watching much more TV than I used to.
I am getting quite fond of "Who Dunnits" along with documentaries on BBC2 or BBC4. What are other members preferences? |

| We watch very little TV just from around 2pm until 6pm, countdown, some doctors program, tipping point, repair shop and pointless. |

| I do have a box for recording but it is past it's sell by date to be honest and the remote control buttons need several presses to get them to work. |

| I have a Humax box and use it regularly to record films, but once recorded I rarely watch 'em ! I take my remote controllers apart and clean them inside with cotton buds and surgical spirit. |

| I have an old Sagem box that I inherited and the remote control is very erratic. I can't see a way to open it up and so I am going to try a Universal one available from Argos for only £15. |

| Don't and haven't watched terrestial tv for years....Utter dross and manipulated news.
I tend to review a drama series and download it to view at leisure.
Any movies can be downloaded and watched. |

I can't see a way to open it up and so I am going to try a Universal one available from Argos for only £15. This works reasonably well but if I want to record from the programme guide I have to revert to the original remote control just to press one button. |

He's a clever bloke is that Poirot. I have a few favourites. Bargain Hunt while eating lunch and The Chase while getting dinner ready. I'm going to admit to watching Emmerdale and Coronation Street as well. I know, it's sad but at least harmless anyway. I like Sky News but also watch RT and Al Jazeera for a different perspective on the World. All this means that the TV is on for quite a lot of the time. We have a TV in most rooms. |

| Watched a film on channel 81 which was made during the War called A Canterbury Tale, full of propaganda as you would expect.
One thing did surprise me was that one of the main characters, who was in uniform for the duration, was saying that before the War he played the organ in a cinema and was paid £30 per week. That does seem to be a very high wage for the 1930's, don't you think. |
