We could really use a very cold spell for a few days to kill off a few bugs. Anything is preferable to all that dark,windy and wet weather

Well, we have received a little of your wet and windy weather over the last few days, thank goodness........A couple of days light drizzzle is doing wonders for the gardens and we have a log fire on today for the first time since last year.
Been working hard in the garden and have 32 giant bin bag of rubbish ready to be collected and enough debris to have a bonfire for a week.....Its 12 degrees today but looks as if it will back to 19/20 by Sunday....

After a chilly dawn, today will be a cloudier day with some showers, these mainly in the east where they will be wintry over the hills. The best of the breaks in the cloud will be in western parts....................................or at least that's what the weathermen say

After a cold start with a sharp frost it will be a bright but fresh day with sunny spells and showers, the showers falling as snow over even modest hills. Despite the sunshine it will feel cold.....................................or at least that's what the weathermen say

Well, after just a couple of days inclement weather, it is back to glorious sunshine again. I think we have had the central heating on less than a dozen times since November and I am in shorts everyday.
Hope its not too wet and cold for your old bones?
