I feel the same as you do about moving to somewhere smaller, but Mrs Mal has lived in this house since 1959 so there is no way she will move anywhere else.

been a busy week here finely got rid of all the workman the last one painted all the walls and ceilings
looks lovely  that's it till end of Jan maybe Feb. when i have new French doors fitted they cant come before everything is taking longer due to coved or so they say 
all i can say is never again

i know i will never move homes this is it for me 
but i live in a bungalow  my parents had one  so for me its normal they bought theirs when i was 15 so i haven't lived in a house with stairs since then i never looked at houses when i was getting married only bungalows    and am i glad especially with harry  its a big one 3 beds dinning room kitchen bathroom and front room and large gardens front and back and i love it
