Good morning. I am hoping that the rain holds off this afternoon. I am a volunteer in the local police community group and a member of the Police Speedwatch where we take random vehicle speed checks on the roads in our area where speeding is a problem.

Those caught speeding by our radar gun are not fined - but sent a police letter warning them of their behaviour and to be careful in future. Or else!! The Speedwatch checks I carried out last Saturday caught 11 cars exceeding the 30 mph limit in 30 minutes - the fastest being 51 mph and was a learner car without a passenger. Probably the instructor was late for his next appointment.

The richest pickings are on a weekday near schools during the afternoon peak, when parents in Chelsea tractors are rushing to collect their kids from school.

British MM. I have permanent Spanish residency after living here 38 yrs but hold a UK passport.....And always will.

Oh! Its warm and sunny from mid morning until 4pm ish. Even able to wear shorts.....But gets cold very quickly when sun wanes. Dry weather forecast for next couple of weeks.

For warm and sunny read cold and cloudy here, but I must admit I wouldn't like all that relentless sunshine day after day after day.....I like our British weather yes
