Good Morning + your weather report and general discussion

Cold and icy again this morning with some sunshine  promised for later.

Good morning - Dull and wet but not freezing. I  am staying in but doing some exercising indoors (well in the garage anyway). I'm researching the best TV to get within the budget. That will keep me happy for a few hours.

I always buy Samsung wherever possible Mart, but the last one, although cheap was not a bargain !{Samsung UE32N5300}
First of all it had no stand, just legs that were too far apart to stand on my TV cabinet....I had to buy a universal stand from EBay....cost £20 !
Secondly the sound was/is dreadful (too bassy) and I had to buy a sound-bar from Argos ....cost £40 !!
On the plus side the picture is stunning !
I also use a Humax PVR box which is great...I watch the TV via the Humax which suits me fine.
My other TV is a Hitachi {32HB26T61U} used in the bedroom again stunning picture sound is great but no teletext, which is a pain as I use it a lot.
The other thing is that neither set is bluetooth capable which is also a pain as I have got a new 'smart' speaker and I can't use them through it !!
Good luck with your purchase...but do lots of checking

Choosing the best TV certainly is a minefield. I've researched for hours, read reviews, watched YouTube demo/reviews only to end up more undecided than ever. I'll do a post about it later. 

The older you get the more complicated life becomes !

good morning - It was snowing at around 5.00 a.m. but just wet and miserable now. One of those nights when sleep wouldn't come, so I gave up and got up. Plenty of time to doze in the day.
