still windy but not as strong but then again its early yet
very dull looks like rain on the way

Good morning....Another nice day ahead sometime today but very windy again up 'til now.
The gales have ruined some of my prized hydrangeas and set any flowering back, if they ever flower at all this year makes me sad ....but in perspective my troubles are very minor indeed !

Good afternoon - It's another warm day and the first time I've worn a T-shirt this year. Not doing much today but feeling much better for having gone for a 2 mile walk yesterday.

I managed to fix the door Malcolm.  It was the adjustments at the bottoms of the hinges that needed doing. They didn't seem to be doing anything on my first attempt (before reading the instructions the link lead to) but they definitely were the ones that made a difference.

I found it best to take the weight off the hinges by levering up the bottom of the door and jamming a chunk of wood underneath to lift the door up on its hinges a little. Then count the number of quarter turns given to each hinge adjustment (on the door jamb side). Removed the lump of wood and all was well.

I put the other adjustments I'd wrongly made back to how they were. A good job I had marked the original positions.

Good morning - Not much happening lately but the weather has been good. Doing nothing in the good weather is much better than doing nothing in the bad weather :) Having said that, the Sun has just gone in and it's looking quite cloudy. Wednesday might see a change and some rain according to forecasts.
