| ' Last cab to Darwin' is the title and I have just downloaded it and will watch it tonight. Good reviews.
First rain overnight for 4 weeks here, the garden needs it....Back to blazing sun again tomorrow though cold at night.
I am halfway through painting the outside of the house.
Professional quote was for 2,500 Euros without vat or paint.....I estimate it will cost me less than 200....Huge difference, though it is a little crippling doing all the work oneself and will take me until mid-February to finish... |

| Good morning - It's dull and drizzly here with a temperature of 8°C at 10 a.m. Not much is happening today but I expect family will be here at some time or another. |

| Good morning - nice dry start to the day but heavy rain in the offing. Been busy making hotpot and chicken and mushroom pie from leftover roasts. I have also decanted eleven prescription drugs from their blister packs into small plastic bottles to make it easier for .me to take each day, then I vacuumed the Downstairs rooms and now I am knackered !  |

| yes our body cells at this age must loose 50% of their energy levels - nice curry dish last night tiki marsala I think from pre-prepared pouches - just add and stir - lamb was the meat source. second cyclone traveling down our coast now - whooppee more rain. I'm home all day but hate housework - I think that women are genetically programmed to do it more effectively going back to sweeping out caves!! |

| Bloody hell MM, you seem to be getting your fair share of wet weather in the UK, I couldn't stand that. I'm so used to be outside all day nearly everyday.
Its chilly air temperatures here with highs of around 15/16 degrees but in direct sunshine I have to be in shorts its that warm.
Housepainting is ongoing, reckon it'll take me until the end of Feb to finish.
Any recommendations for reading would be gratefully accepted....Fiction or fact. |
