clouds slowly developing but still no storms - it's raining in darwin but that's 1600kms away from us!! did you know that the chinese purchased the port of darwin - wot is it with this country - they are also buying up as many defunct ranches as they can - well stations we call em!

Good morning - It's dry at the moment. The weather is trying to tempt me to ride to the allotment but I know if I do, the rain will start and I'll get wet. I'll stay indoors and it won't rain of course and then I could have gone. Murphy's law. :)

I might ride over to see my brother later if the weather stays dry,

finally with whistles and bangers the storm arrived - claps and flashes and monsoonal downpours and some of us even danced in it! - but the ground has been wetted and averted my greatest fear of a forest fire! - like all monsoonal downpours it was over in 30 mins! - interrupted my tv station fora while but who cares! :stormy: :stormy:

I'm glad you finally got your rain Davo. What an imbalance there is in the World weather. We have had far too much rain here lately. A pity we can't export some of it your way.

We are in North Wales for a couple of days same overcast skies with occasional rain showers but very relaxing too.

started visiting N.Wales when I was 7yrs old from da 'pool - it was a magic world away from city life! visited it later as a teen and then in 2000 with new wife! returned to betsy coed - the place of my 7yr old visit - little had changed more rain clouds approaching

Glad that you have had some rain Davo and that it moves to where it is needed most as the bushfires are still causing havoc.

Spent Saturday from 7am ( Which is extraordinarily early for me ) until 4pm in a tiny village called 'Corca', just north of Girona at an Anglican churches Christmas fair.

Mrs Beastie persuaded me to go and try and sell some of the huge amount of golf equipment we have stored in the cellar, remnants from an online business I had years ago. Plus we have a lot of crystal, pottery and costume jewelry collected over the decades.

50% of the proceeds going to the local Anglican society and church and its local endeavors
to help people in need of help.

A great day where we alone raised 400 euros for the cause and I got to see faces I haven't see for over thirty years going back to my formative days here. I am in no way a religious person but seeing the good work done by many people from all walks of life and creed was an uplifting experience.

Since last Friday night when we had a huge thunderstorm with galeforce winds, the weather has been spectacular with daily temps of 24/25 degrees.
As I am typing this I'm sat in my shorts on the front terrace as the sun wanes......It'll drop by at least 10 degrees in half an hour and I'll be sat inside with the fire on.

Thanks Beastie,,,,it's nice to get away for a day or two and be cosseted in a hotel.
We support our local Methodist church here in Coppull, never go to a service but usually go to the fund-raising events

Good Morning - The weather is still wet and dreary. We have to do the supermarket shopping today. The cost of it will increase each week as Christmas draws nearer. Every year, I swear I'm going to opt out of it all but never do.
