Thing is do we start  posts that piss off certain posters(No one on this site) and get censored.

Do we and should we start posts that make  snowflakes leave?

Or are we grown up children?

On a serious note - if you would like a glimpse of why I have slowed down - it is because my enthusiasm has waned. It will probably come back - I need another holiday to perk me up.

Open the jokes board and look down at all the posts. Page after page of them. Plenty of people have read some of the posts - but if it wasn't for andsome responding regularly - most posts would remain unacknowledged.

I post exactly the same stuff on two other forums and it is rare for a post not to be the sponsor of much friendly banter, sarcasm and added humour that sometimes run into double figures.

good question alan and one I immediately raised when I joined stating " no responses to postings often heralds the death of a website" but you can take a horse to water etc

I always look at your funnies and sometimes respond but not always [some are just corny and not IMO funny] - nevertheless I still enjoy them and will make more of an effort in the future - however I see you are not responding to the "jokes for blokes" thread much so  tit for tat??

One thing you must remember is .... This is your forum not mine ... I just pay for it and run and provide it for you.
Sometimes I have to be harsh in my decisions because I have the greater good of the forum to consider and I must always be aware of what any prospective members will see and how they will judge the place before joining, just like you all must have done.

I think this is one of the best forums I have been on. 

I think the members are genuine and there is no nastiness. Malcolm is fair in moderation. 

I do read most posts but do not always respond. Alan is nuts but in a nice way. It's nice to hear about your travels too.. Best not to feel offended if posts are not responded  to.

The easiest way to avoid "rebuff" is to keep quiet. So there are many things that are not said, and many that should be said remain in hiding.

telling members that they are not posting enough is a form of cajoling however well meaning it may be. It if is truly OUR forum then let it be. If we chose not to post all the time then that is our decision. I agree with catgate comments - let it be.
