| For me a pan cooked medium rare sirloin steak with deep fried chips, garlic button mushrooms and sprouts.
For Libby - lasagne (which I never eat) - I find it boring.
For the local crows or magpies - every bit of fat off my steak |

| Rib eye is too fatty for me - its OK cremated to cook the fat out but done medium rare - yuk. I don't eat fat on any meat including bacon.
That's why my 34" waist measurement and 76.5 kg weight have been maintained since I was in my late teens. If my weight creeps up to 77 kg - I literally stop eating until it drops to 76 kg. It drives Libby nuts because she lacks my will power. |

| Beef Stroganoff, wholegrain brown Tilda Rice and spiralized zucchini. The stroganoff sauce (without the fries) of the recipe I'll be using is: HERE |

| Irene - you recipe is close to the one I use with two major differences.
I insist that you only use free range organic stroganoffs that have been freshly trapped and not frozen
Your recipe skimps on the brandy - you need 4 times the amount specified (and cognac is better).
Other than that - it's fine.
Thanks for posting |

| I came across Brain's Faggots the other day - a blast from the past, I didn't imagine they were still made. They stick in my mind as, when a kid, I thought they were made from brains and first ate them as a dare. Never occurred to me that they were purported made by Mr Brain.
Anyway, I bought a couple of packs. Having them with potato wedges, mashed roots and pointy cabbage. |
