This morning will be a mostly cloudy start, although brighter spells will soon develop through the day, along with the odd shower at times; these becoming more frequent in Cheshire by the afternoon. Winds remaining light throughout................or at least that's what the weathermen say |

A cold, windy and rather cloudy day for most of us. Occasional showers are expected for all areas which could be heavy at times, possibly giving some snow over higher ground. The strong north-westerly wind bringing a marked wind chill.................or at least that's what the weathermen say |

| Four degrees here and breezy. Overnight rain has stopped,and there is just thin cloud at present,but more rain is forecast for later. |

| evening all... dull and rainy here. my highlight of the day was going to the doctors for a cortisone injection....  I hope it helps .. I've not been able to straighten my arm since last October and have got fed up of running around like a one arm bandit. |

After an icy, bright start, showery rain will move in from the west through the morning. There will be heavy outbreaks with the risk of thunder and it will fall as snow over high ground. Feeling cold..................or at least that's what the weathermen say |

| Hey Sagsygal, I hope your arm heals soon and any pain dissipates!
We have visitors from Penwortham and Worthing at the moment, both places having seen some bad flooding recently.
Today, its around 16 degrees, the coldest for months, been in the 20's forever.
Still in shorts during daylight hours but noticing the chill in the air.
Am in the process of repainting approx 150 metres of walls around the house and garden, all this bending and climbing is taking its toll on the joints. Only doing it in sunshine hours though!

Rain, sleet and snow will clear southeastwards this morning, leaving a largely dry afternoon with sunny spells. It'll be windy, especially near the coast and on high ground which will make it feel markedly cold...................or at least that's what the weathermen say |
