A bright start for most today with some isolated showers, that may be heavy at times. The showers will continue into the afternoon, with some decent sunny spells. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Nine degrees and cloudy in Burntwood this morning. No rain is forecast for us at all.

The burgers lied. The forecast was definitely cloudy but dry. It has been peeing down for the last hour. As I just had another look and showed 'Er in doors, it flickered an changed t light rain. I will send an e mail t Cameron to complain. drum

Good Morning anyone
A swathe of gale force north to northwesterly winds, accompanied by a band of rain and snow, will move south across much of central and southern Britain on Friday night and Saturday. Wind gusts of 50-60 mph are likely, with a lower likelihood of 60-70 mph gusts, perhaps most likely in exposed parts of east coastal England. In any one area, the strongest winds will last for only a few hours, clearing last from southeastern areas of England. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

A cold, and in places icy start with the odd sleet or snow shower across the Pennines this morning. Otherwise it will be dry and sunny but cold, especially in brisk northwest winds.d. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Two degrees and clear this morning in Burntwood. Very breezy so I don't fancy stepping out today. Forecast is for sunshine and low temperatures all day. Had a small sprinkling of snow last night at about eleven o'clock.

A few showers, possibly wintry, are expected over the Pennines. Elsewhere it will be generally dry. Low cloud and icy patches will clear to give increasingly sunny conditions. Remaining chilly, although the northerly wind will be lighter than on Saturday. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !
