Good Morning anyone
A few showers, possibly wintry, are expected over the Pennines. Elsewhere it will be generally dry. Low cloud and icy patches will clear to give increasingly sunny conditions. Remaining chilly, although the northerly wind will be lighter than on Saturday. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Two degrees and clear in Burntwood. Thank goodness the wind has now gone.

It will be a cold and frosty start to the day with hazy sunshine this morning. Through this afternoon cloud will thicken from the northwest bringing rain, heavy at times, to all by the end of the day. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Minus one degree in Burntwood this morning with thin high cloud. No rain until about eight pm.

Nippy here too but let's hope the weathermen are right and tomorrow is warmer.

I shall see what our resident forecaster says before I venture out tomorrow ... teacup

he's usually spot on.

There will be a mixture of bright spells and blustery showers today, and these will be heavy in some places, particularly on the higher ground. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Six degrees and drizzly in Burntwood this morning. Forecast for a maximum of seven or eight degrees

Patchy rain and cloudy skies will be the theme of the day, with some heavier pulses, especially around Liverpool Bay. Feeling cool in the wind, along the coast in particular. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

It'll be rather cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle continuing through the day, turning heavier at times,especially on the hills. Feeling milder with lighter winds than yesterday. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Generally cloudy, with outbreaks of patchy light rain and drizzle at times. Meanwhile, a band of rain, locally heavy and squally will move southeast during the afternoon. Turning colder with showers following on behind, turning wintry over the Pennines. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !
