Good Morning anyone
A blustery weekend is expected across England and Wales with winds strengthening from the west on Saturday morning. Gusts around coastlines exposed to the westerly or southwesterly winds could reach 60 mph at times. Inland gusts will be less frequent but could still reach 50 to 55 mph. Further strengthening from the west is expected on Sunday where gusts around western coasts could locally reach 70 mph. Elsewhere gusts of 60 mph are possible, particularly in western areas.

Please be aware of the potential for some disruption due to the strong winds. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Three degrees and a fine start in Burntwood,rain is forecast round about mid day,light at first but becoming heavy later.

A lot colder here today, with a little drizzle now and again.
Went to the town got a couple more Xmas presents.
The bit I hate is the wrapping up.

Well Malcolm ... I hate strong winds so that's really cheered me up. yes

That's me snuggling in with some Jaffa cakes and my furry slippers and little warming wheat bag. (as the central heating has conked).

It will be a cloudy morning with outbreaks of rain, some heavy. The rain will turn showery later, with brighter spells developing. Wintry showers will affect the hills. It will be windy with inland gales, severe near coasts and hills. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

A wet start with widespread outbreaks of rain turning heavy for a time with some snow over the hills. Later, rain will push southwards bringing drier and clearer intervals. Temperatures will be cool for northern parts but mild further south. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Eight degrees with light rain at present in Burntwood,and it's still very windy. Heavy rain is due very shortly. This lot must be putting my gas bill up,it's good that I am loaded.:stormy: :;smile:

A dull, wet start as widespread rain pushes north-eastwards this morning, turning heavy on western coasts and higher ground. Drier weather will develop by the afternoon with drizzly outbreaks for some. Staying windy but feeling more mild than yesterday. ....or at least that's what the weathermen say !

It will be a cloudy, breezy and mild start with rain soon arriving into the north and then moving south through the day, where it will become slow-moving, and at times, heavy. Winds will ease and it will turn colder. ...or at least that's what the weathermen say !
