That's dreadful Alan...we have very clean air here where we live in Coppull, just the farm smells from next door.
I suppose I'm lucky they don't bother me 'cos I've lost my sense of smell !

My wife has a great senses of smell - I dare not hint at canine qualities - and she cannot smell the fuel aerosol it is so slight.

We moved house at the end of 2019. We lived in a retirement estate of 14 houses and 2 apartments in a cul de sac off the main A41 road which connects Solihull to Birmingham. It is a main bus route, local hospital ambulance race track and has notoriously heavy crawling traffic nearly all day. The traffic noise, tyre dust and fumes got too much, plus our neighbour sold his bungalow to a developer intent on demolishing it and building a block of 6 high-end apartments on the plot which would put our house in shade and was the last straw - so we sold up and moved. 

Despite the proximity of the airport, air quality here in Marston Green Village is much better and Libby's asthma is significantly improved.

Good morning - There was heavy rain for the first few hours of the morning but the cloud has broken now and the Sun is shining (on and off).

I got the first red tomato from the plants in the garden polytunnel yesterday. I notice there's another today. Time to party I think.

The tomatoes in our garden are plentiful and plump, but showing no sign of going red. They are not even blushing - presumably out of embarrassment.

I don't know about your plentiful and plump tomatoes Alan.
But I must say.

Actually Alan.
I am a bitter beer drinker, preferably in the pub off a handpump.
But aside from that I always have one or two bottles of Proper Job beer or similar.
And what I do is pour the beer into a Lager glass.
Something like Stella Artois or similar.
Those glasses have a little widget on the bottom of the glass which add more head to the beer, and even perhaps a touch more body.
I never drink out of an ordinary straight glasses.

Good morning. We have 100% cloud cover at present but it is bright. Rain promised for a couple of hours at mid-day and again all evening.

We have stayed in Bod a few times and it is very nice there.
