Good morning - Another sunny and hot day in store. I'll be meeting a friend at a pub at lunchtime for a pint of beer, a cool one I hope.

I get on OK with the heat and will probably miss the Sun and warmth when the expected change happens on Friday/Saturday.

I'm not a great fan of continual hot summer sunshine I find it debilitating.
I prefer the warm spring days of sunshine and showers

Sunny again here in North Herts, 21°C.
We had a brief thunder storm yesterday evening, no more than 10 minutes.

Just a lovely 24c (around 75f) here and lovely and sunny so just about right.
Off out for walkies though soon.

Just had a look at your cam and seen you're hiding inside. shy

If I had a webcam I don't think I could point it at where I might be. I'd have a continual itch between my shoulder blades wondering if anyone was watching me.

Weather from Mortyland .... overcast with intermittent sunshine. No breeze. Hot , sticky .. and I'm dying for some thunder.

My CT Camera gets around 50 ‘hits’ a day, though I don’t really know from where.

Good morning - More of the same weather today and another ride to the allotment. I rely on that place for interest and physical exercise now. I'd miss it if/when the time comes that I can't do it anymore.

Good morning -Another hellishly hot day in store today sun

Yet another lousy hot night with little sleep.

I spent 13 years in the Middle East where summer temperatures reached 46C without me feeling so drained. Even our swimming pool got too hot to swim in. Admittedly our villas were air conditioned, as was the cars and offices.

I was there as Project manager for the building of an aluminium rolling mill and stayed there after it was commissioned as Engineering manager - hence had to spend many hours each day either outside or inside a factory where temperatures in the hot rolling section were scorching hot. I was 45 years old when I went there and was able to put up with the heat but retired at 59 when I could no longer tolerate it. Hence confirmation that my present problems in the heatwave are an "age" thing.

We are off for a 60 mile journey today to visit a private stately home in Oxfordshire that is only open to visitors for a limited time each year - having booked tickets for a guided tour a few weeks ago.
We are staying in a local hotel just tonight and coming back home tomorrow evening vising a National Trust place near Morton in the Marsh on the way back. I'm dreading it, but 'she who must be obeyed' (SWMBO) loves going round the gardens and puts up with the heat better than me - perhaps because she is 6 years younger than me..
