Hi Fellow boozer. I'm glad you enjoyed the brief history of my time in Bahrain and Dubai.

It fell well short of my total lifetime which like others here embraced WW2, great school and University days, a few girlfriends, 3 wives, one divorce then being widowed and getting married to my current wife at the age of 71. I never thought I would find happiness again - but got it in spades.

This marriage of mine which celebrated 25 years Anniversary on 1st July 2021.
This is my third marriage so third time lucky.
My Wife has like you given me happiness again.
In spades and bucket loads!

Good morning - The rain and thunder has arrived here. All the windows are open letting the cooler air in. It's still 24 degrees indoors though. Having been hot for a length of time, I think the bricks in the house act as storage heaters for a while.

Morning all - three different weather forecasts promised us rain through the night - so we didn't water the garden last evening which needed it. It didn't rain at all.  100% cloud cover this morning but it doesn't look as if it will rain.

Good morning - A dull day. No rain yet but threatening to do so.

The boiler has gone wrong. It's totally dead as if there is no mains electricity. External and internal fuses are OK. Going to get our son (an electrician) to check out the mains feeds. If it isn't that, it looks like a boiler repairer will be needed.

Oh no that's not good Mart but at least it's not the middle of winter,.. things could always be worse.

Had some light rain over night but dry now, 18°C
