Hello Beast- Sorry to read that the tourism situation isn't exactly booming for you. I hope it might pick up. What a mess we're all in with Covid.

I'm glad that Mart has confirmed the info I posted and PM'd you earlier. If you have a windows 10 computer - ditch AVG - it has a false positive track record.

Gmorning all. We had lots of rain and thunder yesterday after almost 3 dry weeks and an appeal from Severn Trent water to reduce consumption.  Today more is expected between bright intervals

Good morning - Cloudy and dry at the moment but rain looks like it could arrive soon. Not sure if I'll go anywhere yet.

Off to the audiologist today for a hearing test - I had all singing and dancing top end Phonak Marvel hearing aids 2 years ago but my hearing is clearly getting worse because they are not as effective as originally. Covid got into the way of re-tuning and this is my first opportunity.

I had occasion to visit the E.N.T. department some years back. Before those with hearing aids were looked at by the doctors, the nurse lead patients aside and shone a light into their ears. I heard her say to a few people that the hearing aid was OK and that it wasn't any wonder they couldn't hear as well as they could with that much wax in the ears.

I'm sure that won't be the case with you Alan but the above was just brought to mind by your post.
