same weather here this morning bit wet and windy 
they are cracking on with the plastering they arrived again at 7 this morning
hope it dry's out quick

Good Morning--Yet another very very rainy Autumnal day here in Coppull

G'mornin - It's dry at present but according to the forecast not for long.

One of us has to be at home today - a flurry of parcels due to arrive, The main one being an Air Fryer which if successful will replace a deep fat fryer. Management is on a health campaign and is trying to shed a few kilos to help with a knee problem that has hit her and to provide an excuse to buy even more clothes.  The fryer costs £129 at Currys and John Lewis but £98 with free delivery from Amazon. It's a no brainer.

I am changing the layout of our study (was a spare bedroom) and need longer ethernet cables to connect the desktop PC and laser printer to the network.

Meanwhile Management uses the guest bedroom as a dressing room and wants to change the layout. I have had to order a 4 metre long TV aerial cable so the TV can be relocated. The furniture move is too heavy for us so she has conscripted 2 sons-in-law to do the humping tomorow.

Other stuff due to arrive is :-

A tub of caustic soda crystals (used for cleaning the stainless steel oven racks which I soak overnight in a large plastic tray half full of solution)

5 kg of sunflower seed hearts for the bird feeders.

Some "special" hair shampoo for management bulging with exotic ingredients

5 kg of Lavazza coffee beans - saves 25% compared with supermarkets and will last us several months

A bluetooth keyboard for my Samsung Tablet - I hate virtual keyboards and am forever mis-typing with my podgy fingers

All but the shampoo is coming from Amazon - but from previous experience not together

Good Morning--Yet another very very rainy Wintry day here in Coppull with  gale-force winds !

Fairly bright here about 11°C moderate wind.

Good Morning-an improving situation, rain drying up but cloudy.

Sunny here about 10°C light wind.

When I went out at 6:15 this morning to fetch my newspaper the car was iced over. There was a thick layer of frost on top of which it had rained and the rain drops were like bubble wrap - the very devil to scrape off - so I finished up pouring hot water over the screen and windows.

It was a bit nippy - the car thermometer read 2 degrees C.

I guess winter is round the corner.

the kitchen is coming along nicely they have leveled the floor and thats set so hopefully the units can start to go in  it took 4 days for the plaster to dry out 
i know one thing its hard work and stressful
