| Good afternoon - In contrast to yesterday, the day has been sunny so far with only a little cloud. I went to the allotment earlier and did some digging. Surprisingly, the earth at a mere spade's depth is still dry!
I was even able to put some washing on the line when I got back at about 11.45 a.m and it's feeling almost dry enough to be taken in. Keeping an eye out for showers though.
I think the rain is due to return tomorrow. |

| Had a few days of low cloud and hazy sunshine....Still around 18/20 degrees during the day and still in shorts. |

| Good morning - The weather might be termed as 'autumnal' ..or not good. The plan was to go to the allotment this morning and wheelbarrow manure into down to the plot. I won't be doing that because.. (a) It's raining. (b) The manure lorry hasn't turned up. |

| Good morning - A mixture of sunshine and very heavy showers this morning (bright Sun at the moment). Not much doing today, so maybe I'll be watching quite a bit of TV from lunchtime onward. |

| A bit windy but very warm, the good weather is forcast for all of November apart from the odd thunderstorm, which is a usual occurence.....I have dozens of huge 'Yucca' plants and trees in the garden and have loads of cut off shoots to replant, some of them 2 metres tall so plenty of digging to be getting on with.
