Good morning -A dry day is forecast for today....but they usually get it wrong so we'll have to wait and see

I can watch the bbc weather forecasts for UK everyday here - funny to see the forecasters trying to appear positive without smiling as the rain thrashes across the country!

Good afternoon all.
Glorious and sunny here still, got to be 30 degrees today.
We closed the bodega Saturday just gone but are opening for a couple of hours this evening to give away the remaining fresh stock to a few friends and customers. So its free drinks all round with tapas for anyone who can make it?

Mrs Beastie is off to France and the UK next week leaving me to start the winter jobs on the house and garden....Got to clean the kitchen at work first...Massive job!

Good morning - A sunny start with rain forecast later. I think I'll take a ride to the allotment while the weather holds to see if our friend needs any assistance.

I feel I should fulfil my roll as chief digger and general dogs-body. She pays me in fruit and veg. Sometimes a bar of chocolate or a bottle drink. :)

Good morning - A dry but colder morning. The boiler decided not to work when the heating was put on. There was no hot water either. The boiler pressure had gone down to 0.5 bar (should be about 1.2 bar). Turned on a valve that lets more water into the system and water leaked out from under the boiler. It soaked the washing in the airing cupboard. Quickly turned the valve off.

Luckily, the installation plumbers had put in an alternative and better way of putting water into the system. I used that and all is well. There are no leaks anywhere in the entire system but I don't know why the boiler pressure dropped. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Good morning - Grey and a bit damp but I'll go to the allotment this morning anyway. I must put a plaster on my thumb before going. I had a failed attempt at sawing it off last Friday Good Morning + your weather report - Page 8 Icon_smile-gif

and shouldn't get muck in the cut.

All good working kitchens get a tad mucky Davo milad!

I paper the walls of mine with kitchen foil to protect from oil contamination and its easy to peel off every couple of weeks and it keeps it mainly clean-ish.

Its mainly the deep fat fryers and griddles that take a lot of scubbing.....Going in again on Thursday to drink the rest of the barrel with a couple of mates.

Then I'll think about the cleaning.

Just started raining here for the first time in ages.
