| one of our dogs a bit 'under the weather' - picked a fight with a goanna and the goanna took a bite out of her back poor thing - she's only a ciao thingy but thinks she's a bulldog!! - otherwise bloody sunshine as usual!! |

| Good morning - A grey day. No plans for this morning but I'll probably ride over to see my brother this afternoon seeing as how I didn't go yesterday. It looked like rain so I stayed in. It didn't rain but I'll bet it would have done if I'd gone out (sod's law). :) Family will be visiting later. I'll have to leave them to it if I go to see my brother. - davo wrote:

Dogs have no concept of their own size and capabilities. Hope the bite heals up OK. |

| On the last week of the summer for us....Going out with a whimper as its extremely quiet.
Have a huge list of jobs to do on the house and garden over the winter months so should be kept busy.
Still warm and sunny though lots of windy days....Temps around 26 degrees most days, still in shorts and t-shirts and probably will do so up until the new year. |

| Good morning - Very wet here in the south. I don't think I'll be going anywhere ..especially since I have developed a cold.
I decided to cancel an appointment with the practice nurse at our doctor's surgery because of it. I didn't think it fair to go spreading a cold around to the nurse and a waiting room full of people.
I was due to visit my brother this afternoon too. I don't think I'll be doing that either. |

| Dear me Mart.....it's one thing after another for you and me lately, I'm just getting over a spell of severe backache, very debilitating !!! I hope yours is better now and that your cold improves soon. It's still pouring with rain here, can't get out to do some long-procrastinated gardening tasks and it's too cold with the heating off and too warm with it on blah blah blah, moan moan moan !  |

| can't switch the {sun} heating off here! - we are in extreme fire danger levels atm - the rain clouds are trying to form but get all sucked dry!! |
