We are not allowed to bury beloved  pets.

Our pet died last year. We buried him in the garden, facing a mountain. Eva our vet who is German, said I am deaf so never heard what you said.

Eva was a great activist for this. More cynical members probably think amusing  but when you drove past the dump you could smell it for miles. Camels all sorts any type of animal

Glad for you and others who have pets.
Taking them to the tip would not have suited me.
You get to love them as one of the family.....

It was so distressing for me as to put Wilbur to sleep at home. I couldn't watch her do it . She gave him a relaxant first before the lethal I junction. Laid him out and just left him as though he was asleep.

We were advised to bury him in the morning. My new husband dug the hole and measured the size.

I was so anxious which way he lay  as I wanted his head facing the mountain. He loved that garden.

We placed a great big volcanic rock over him and I planted flowers and and his favourite toys. The new owners of the house said they would maintain the plot for me.

He was 17 nearly 18 so was a much loved pet.

He lived to a good age Goldie, my two little yorkies are 7 years old and I love them to bits.
Heart wrenching when it's time for them to go but we never forget them.

This is our dog 'Judy'. Her life ended many years ago at the age of 17 but she is still missed.
About Time too Gooddog_zpsmxj91ugw

The dog shown below was called 'Danny' (the budgie was called 'Charlie'). He became the family dog when he was a puppy and I was about 11 years old. Although he was part of the family, he was really my Dad's dog. It went everywhere with him, just like like 'Judy' did with me. I still miss him too. This photo was taken about 53 years ago.

Mine was a cat  Wilbur . He came through many traumas through my first marriage. According to the judge the first cat
he gave custody to. My ex was just being spiteful. He hated Wilbur who was blind from birth but a real character.

To this day,he died last year I can't get another pet. Although we do have community  ones.
