| Just back from town, sat in shorts on front terrace typing this. Stayed up late last night watching a very dated 'Good old days '. A programme on Norman Wisdom and one on Doris Day on BBC four. Don't often watch TV unless it is sport as most channels serve up dross. If we want to watch something we download it.
Off to spend the night in a hotel in Tossa de mar tomorrow. Belated St Stephens day traditional Catalan feast. |

Oh Alan , I know the problem! I had to clean my car in 1995 after the Mount Ruapehu eruption!

| I usually wait for the big wet to clean mine! - but I do have the option of staying with my son and being wined and dined or returning home to home renovations - OH what to do??? sleep on it I think - I have to be out by the 5th Jan for new guests - how banal!! |

| I washed the car.
Afterwards and my wife cleaned the interior whist I cleaned our conservatory windows.
With the sun so low in the sky - getting windows perfectly streak free is a really frustrating task.
