| Good morning - The storm is still here with showery rain and gale-force winds  :stormy:  The weather men euphemistically call this weather "unsettled"...... ......."Met Office meteorologist Alex Burkill said: "While Storm Ciara is clearing away, that doesn't mean we're entering a quieter period of weather. It's going to stay very unsettled" |

| I've seen some images of Preston and it looks terribly flooded in some areas....Incredible scenes which resonate as we had dreadful storms two weeks ago which caused millions of euros worth of devastation....How is it around each of you? |

| Not too bad here several roads blocked from falling trees but no casualties or major damage. |

the storm has passed but its still very windy tree down etc
the river ribble burst its banks and a hotel had to evacuate
theres a lot of places flooded
