Thank you for the welcome.
I am a retired school teacher widow and live next door to Alan and Libby who are great friends. I bought myself a computer 3 years ago and Alan helps me with my computer muddles whenever I need it - which is now less often than it was. I share their internet which is much better than the one I had.
I use my computer almost every day - to read the news, order shopping, Email and Skype friends far away.
They showed me the word games played on here and I thought it might give my brain a bit of exercise - rather than buy puzzle books.

Ah - so you finally decided then. Welcome aboard and have fun.
I suggest you keep to the word games and not read my jokes

Dizzy - if you browse Irene's posts here you will see that she is somewhat delusional - NEW girl my foot...she beats me in the marriage stakes.............
But like you - she is very nice.....

Just testing the authenticity in case Dizzy is a terrorist. I am very pleased to announce that she is not.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone which includes Alan who encouraged me to come here.
It's a nice way of filling my time when I am at home and at a loose end.

Thanks again for the warm and welcome "welcomes" to this forum. I am no stranger to forums having tried a few over the last two years or so - but for whatever reason I feel more at home here already.
I confess that this is probably influenced by Alan and Libby next door who have been such lovely caring neighbours since they moved into our road about 3 years ago. Alan quickly became a director of our managing company and has made huge improvements in our road and has made considerable savings to our running costs and service charge.
I lost my husband 4 years ago and live on my own - Alan insists that I ring their telephone every morning at 9.00 am to confirm I am OK because, although we are neighbours, we don't see each other every day. I'm fine but I do it just to humour him - but please don't tell him.
I mention all this to let you know that if I am missing from the forum occasionally - I am probably either away visiting family for a few days - or too DIZZY to use the computer.
