Staying largely cloudy with some bright spells at times. Where the cloud is thick enough, it may lead to the odd spot of light rain or drizzle. Breezier than yesterday, but feeling fine in any sunshine.

It will be a cold but a bright start to the day. We'll see plenty of sunshine lasting into the afternoon with some fair weather cloud building through the day.

After a chilly start, a pleasant day to come, with plenty of sunshine across the region. Feeling warm in light winds, with Lancashire and Cheshire seeing the highest daytime temperatures.

| Been glorious the last 2 weeks and I've had the first swim of the summer. Last night we had a torrential downpour that lasted a good 6 hours and this morning was like a cold damp winters day. This afternoon from 3pm until now its been fantastic sunshine again, back into shorts....Weird!!! |

After a chilly dawn, another fine day will follow with some good spells of warm sunshine. The best of the sunshine will be during the morning, before more cloud tends to bubble up through the course of the afternoon.
