| No spring weather here sadly. It has been damp, misty with some rainy days for a couple of weeks now. Havn't been im my shorts for what seems like ages. Consequently, no woring on the house and garden which means when the decent weather does return I will have a huge amount of work to get through. |

| Someone should tell that to our work from home civil servants refusing to go back to the office. WE have thousands still waiting for passports, car registrations and the like because there is no-one at the office to open a deluge of mail. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. Are you seeking guidance, sympathy or inspiration ? I know the feeling all too well. Because I have lost 5.4 kg (12 pounds) in 13 weeks, accompanied by intermittent abdominal pains my doc has arranged for me to have a day out tomorrow where I am promised the pleasure of a colonoscopy. He assures me they no longer use Kodak box brownie cameras but something much smaller. He is tackling my problems starting from the bottom. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. | Had one last year it was a breeze, only felt a pain when doc snipped something off for biopsy. He let me watch it all on the monitor as well. |

| It went well for me - not at all uncomfortable and well organised. I was able to watch the camera image throughout on the monitor screen and the clinician gave me a running running commentary. It was fascinating.
The bottom line (did you notice what I did there?) is that they found no problems - not even a lonely polyp - except for a tiny patch of diverticulitis she assured me was entirely normal for my age.
So I'm a happy bunny. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm.
