Four degrees and cloudy in Burntwood.

Good Morning everyone
Another fine cold and sometimes beautiful sunny morning .... ain't life grand

Hi, no I did not disappear my internet went off on Sunday.
Had to wait till Wednesday for a engineer and guess what they did not turn up.
Managed to get another appointment for today (Thursday).
He was here for over 2 hours then said all ok.
Tried the computer myself when he left and ahhhh...it's internet not working. I can tell you I swore.
Back on the phone again where they got me to do a few tests, then said its the WiFi on my computer that's not working now ,and to take it to someone.
PC world said to repair it  is to expensive so buy a WiFi Dongle £30
What do I do ??? 
They helped me put internet on my  I pad as the hub was changed

Whatever you do keep well away from Curry's PC World.  They are noted for ripping people off, my daughter was had on by them.  Google for local computer shops and get their advice.  Alternatively won't the ISP provide a solution, certainly Virgin do free calls if anything is wrong with their apparatus, it may not be the computer.


Back to topic, it's eight degrees and light rain in Burntwood today, with little hope of an improvement for several hours.

No google shops near us, and what is isp.
PC World just do a test to see if they can get the internet on it in there shop, if so then its not my 
computer,

Internet Service Provider is ISP.  Surely there must be private trustworthy computer store not too far away, who won't rip you off.
