A miserable cold wet and windy morning ....but still ain't life grand

Eight degrees and cloudy in Burntwood.  Had rain overnight.  The rain has come just nicely for the start of our crown green bowling season. We have a practise match tonight followed by pie and chips in the pub.  I have chosen venison and bacon pie.

Very windy here ---next door neighbour had a green house yesterday?? :;smile:

It was flaming horrid last night. I hate gales .. and couldn't get to sleep.
It's not much better today. Even had a hail shower. Might have guessed a Bank Holiday is on it's way.
