G'morning. It must be quite cool this morning the heating came on. It appears we had a lot of rain overnight but it is bright but cloudy at present.

I was up at 4:00 am this morning after another restless night.

I couldn't get my newspaper until the local shop opened at 6:00 am so I had a couple of hours to kill

So - To fill my time, I melted an ice cube just by staring at it.

It took a lot longer than I thought it would.

When I eventually went to the shop, overnight they had painted an X on the floor a metre in front of each Till for you to stand on.

I've seen too many Road Runner cartoons to fall for that trick!

Good morning -Cloudy and cool again  today with threatening rain

Good morning - The morning is brightening up. I think the only excitement today will be going to the fairly new local co-op to get some milk. Feeling a bit bored but I expect I'll find something to do.

Out of boredom, I decided to have a look at the electronic boiler control panel. I found a capacitor that was bulging slightly and measured low capacity. I found a suitable one on an old TV PCB, removed it and soldered it into the boiler PCB. Still doesn't work but it passed an hour or so.

Intermittent showers today, some heavy. 18°C with a light NNW wind.

We have ahd a bright and sometimes sunny day today - except for about 30 minutes when black clouds came over - but didn't rain on us.

Good morning - Grey skies but dry. The chance of an occasional shower. Not enough to put me off a ride to the allotment and I'll be leaving for there shortly.

I had to visit the dentist again this morning for more treatment...an extraction this time.
I am escaping the planet bit by bit

Was it a tooth extraction, wallet extraction or both

I am a private patient  I phoned for an appointment at 08.02 am and was sat in the chair at 08.16 and home again at 08.36 !!

That's excellent service - we too go private but envy you.
