| Just got Mrs Mal a new phone from Tesco. It's a Huwawei Y6 a good phone with good reviews all for £8.50 per month on a two year contract. 750 mins + 5000 texts and 500meg data. Her old Alcatel only had 8gig internal storage and was getting full up this one has 32gig so should be OK for FB, Instagram and Messenger. It has taken me all morning setting it up for her, I am now exhausted and bleary eyed !! |

| I bought myself an iPhone 7 a couple of years ago and have a Sim only deal with Tesco. 5000 minutes, 5000 texts and 10GB of data for £14 per month.
I think the iPhone is very much over priced but it does work very well and I could not get on with the Android operating system. |

| tell me folks I've got an ancient Telstra phone - £ 20 per month and I never exceed the use of; but tell me if you can I have a rather large simcard inserted which holds all my data etc and no doubt recognizes my agreement - if have tried inserting it in more modern hand me downs with no success - they are take half that size simcard. Will a Telstra agency be able to transfer everything off of the large simcard to a smaller one if you see what I mean? |

The last I heard was the UK was moving away from them over a political dispute and it could render their technology unsupported by the UK partners we buy it all from. I have 2 USB internet dongles made by them I bought through Network 3. |

| I have an IPhone 11 which I am very happy with. Mind you. ..... I have just bought the latest 2021 IPdad Pro 12.13" which has cost me £1,099. That's enough spending for now! I love my Pro though. .... |

I think if you take the phone into a Telstra shop, or any phone shop of choice, they might have a way of doing what you want. The youngsters in these places take all these things their stride and manage to easily do what would take us ages and a lot of head scratching. We have all read about the Huawei 5G concerns. I'm not sure if the average casual user of the phones (probably on 4G) needs to worry but more about that here.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-47041341..scroll to the heading ' What about Huawei phones?' |
