hope the weather is as good today
yes Malcolm its a bit of a nightmare some days nothing other days awful
his mobility is not good at the best of times this just makes everything worse
but at least we have managed to keep him out of hospital  that's one place I don't want him to go with all that's going on at the present time
I have to say the doctors have been brilliant  they were coming every other day trying different tablets
the worry with harry is his heart  and his kidneys he has a lot of health problems 
but as I say he is getting there just takes time
hope today is a good one for you

Good Morning....a lovely bright Icelandic Summers day .... sunny but very cold !
A very slow recovery for me, cut down on the painkillers but my prodigal appetite has returned
I hope you are all doing OK and managing to keep your spirits up....I know Mrs Mart isn't in the best of health during normal times but has to endure, and I am ashamed at myself for filling the forum with my minor ailments.
My regards to her, and to you of course Mart....you are both inspirational to me and have all of my respect and admiration.

Thanks Malcolm. I think we all have our problems, especially as we get older. I don't think yours is minor. Anything that lays you in bed day after day with a lot of pain, as has been the case with yourself, is quite major I think. I'm pleased you are improving anyway. :)

Not much to do today. I could (and probably should) clean all the windows but I can't raise the enthusiasm at present.

Laid in bed at the moment, debating with myself whether to get up or lie here a while
Trouble is that when I do get up I will see allow those jobs around the house that need doing and that I cannot risk and tempt providence to re-inflict my misery.

still in bed ! Not like me but still nursing this back of mine.

Good evening - It hasn't been a bad sort of day. We managed to get the bed linen washed and nearly dry before a light shower set in.

I got my prescription delivered earlier. The doctors surgery still make prescriptions up and I got a volunteer service to collect mine from there and bring it to the house. Mrs mart is in this 'shielded' category. I think this puts me in a position of not going out at all as well. I'd hate to go out and bring the virus back to someone as vulnerable as she is.

Thank goodness for those who are willing to help out.

I now have enough food, a prescription that will last about a month and plenty of beer. What more could a man want? :)

Good afternoon - A wet start to the day but it's dry now.

We just had our Tesco online shopping delivery and all items were there. It's quite a procedure for me to take them indoors. I'm being as careful as possible to keep the virus away. I treat each item with Dettol, either sprayed or wiped on. Only then does it get brought indoors. A bit tedious but we do what we can.

Good Morning....Another lovely Summery day today plenty of sunshine but a tad cold.
Nothing to do but enjoy it !
I have made up a spray of bleach and water with a bit of washing up liquid and spray outside doors and knocker and letterbox and garden gates and anything else with it.
I think that Dettol with only kill germs Mart, it is ineffective against viruses.
Bleach is better and cheaper too !
