| Although a keen cricket person myself, I am amazed at how many visitors from overseas are wandering around NZ, (and Australia- our joint hosts). In my part time job at the museum I encounter visitors from many countries, many of which are not known for cricket involvement, but they know of and are intrigued by the World Cup. Apparently we have had 6 million visitors to this country this year and bearing in mind that there is only 4 million of us live here, that's a lot of people! It's apparently doing the economy lots of good! |

| Well it's a bit encouraging that our 4 million people just beat South Africa's 48 million in the semi-final of the World Cup. It's Aussie or India next in Melbourne. |
