| I love my percolated coffee each morning 1. Stand one cup percolator and drop in 1 tablespoon of ground coffee 2. Stand one cup next to it and place two sweetener tabs in 3. Boil water ready for action 4. Pour boiled water into percolator and allow to steep 5. Plunge plunger through brewing coffee 6. Pour into cup add milk and drink However sometimes it goes wrong! I sometimes place sweetener in percolator with coffee! Or place ground coffee into cup instead of percolator Am I losing my marbles or need the cup and percolator further apart OR change my brand of sweetener?? Stamped addressed envelope included – oops nearly forgot the stamp!! |

| Your problem is worse than you think.
You are actually using a cafetiere and not a percolator. Hence - my diagnosis is that you have lost more than one marble. |

| I do just the same every morning but I make two mugs of coffee and take one up to my wife who drinks hers whilst waking up to greet the new day. I have done this every single day for the last thirty years, at home or away, apart from the times I have been hospitalised. |

| I'm happy with instant coffee and a dash of milk but it must be strong, as much as a teaspoon can hold and then some more. I put 3 sweeteners in a fairly large mug and have two of these per day. One at around 8 in the morning and the other a 8 in the evening. I use a thermos mug because I don't like it to cool down too quickly. Sometimes use a little maple syrup instead of one of the sweeteners.
I have tried many coffees, instant and percolated but just prefer the old traditional Nescafe. Quick and easy to make too. |

| There are a lot of excesses I'd like to try out so I could give a personal opinion. On second thoughts, maybe I'm too old for them now. :) |

| We like coffee, but for us it just has to be tea in the morning. I take 'Er indoors a cup up every morning, because as well as being gorgeous I am also extremely kind and good hearted. |
