| Oh dear, Goldie, to this techno-dinosaur, most of that could have been written in Swahili - or Aramaic.
I THINK what it means is - if a bloke wants make sure his wife can't see what porn sites he's been visiting, use the three-dot thingy and perhaps CCleaner. Fine.
BUT, even if one does both, any law-enforcement or other commercial 'expert' could still track your activities ..... ? |

| No matter what sites are visited, a full browser cache can make a browser give trouble. The cache is where all the images that you come across on the Internet get downloaded to and stored.
The browser does this in case you go back to a site. When you visit a web page for a second time or more, the browser first looks in the cache to see if it has already got the images needed for the page being viewed. It will only download the images from the Internet if it hasn't.
It's a lot quicker for a browser to go to its cache for an image required by a web page than it is for it to download the image from the Internet. Therefore the cache helps to speed up page loading times. It is also kinder to the Internet and web sites because it saves unnecessary downloading and bandwidth usage.
However, if a cache becomes too full, the browser can have trouble finding an image (or images) that it needs for displaying those repeatedly visited web pages. This is when the cache can get corrupted and confuse the browser no end. It doesn't know whether to keep looking in the cache, or download the image again. Even if it does try to download the image again, there's no room to store it. A right old tizzy that can cause images not to show or sometimes, web pages not to load properly at all. That's why it's always worth emptying the browser cache when web pages or images don't work properly.
The way of emptying the cache is a bit different for each type of browser. Best to always say what one is being used when needing information. |

| Yes I tend to go into settings on my tablet and privacy. I press that and a section comes up with history, cookies etc. Don't tick the password one as it wipes out all your passwords. I am hopeless at remembering them. Good luck Jim |

| Not sure what you mean Pum. Jim wanted a query answered. I posted a link. Never even thought about such sites. I expect Jim took it in good part. |
