I bank with Barclays. If you use their telephone banking service you get Kaspersky FOC for 2 machines.

I have used Eset security suite for several years now.  It is always ranked high up. The main advantage is that free telephone support is available in the UK, and it is NOT a premium rate call.  They are always more than happy to take control of the computer remotely if a problem is tricky to solve.  For some time now it has been able to detect when you link with a banking site and offers another layer of protection. I won't be changing.

I have AVG on one laptop running W10 and Avast on my other laptop running W7, both free and working well, I have no complaints at all.

I was using Windows Defender without any infections until I discovered that I could get Kaspersky free.

Its bound to be good at spyware cuz it's Russian.
