Cloudy skies to start the day, and rather windy with prolonged rainfall during the morning which will be heavy at times. Brighter skies will follow in the afternoon, though perhaps with the odd shower at times..

A bright start across Northwest England, with lengthy sunny spells at first. However, cloud will build through the day, accompanied by the odd shower, these turning heavy in places. Feeling pleasant, especially in any sunshine with a north-westerly breeze.

Generally dry but rather cloudy at times in the north. The cloud will produce a little light rain at times, mainly over the hills, through turning brighter here later. Elsewhere, it will be warm, dry with plenty of sunshine.
