| There are so many tragic stories around that I am developing an immunity to them. Its not that I don't sympathise - its just that my stock of sympathy is depleted. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. | As a galvanised atheist I cannot subscribe to that. I see no point in prayer whatsoever. However, if it brings some people comfort, so be it. I would rather have a glass of full bodied red wine. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. I have known Mr Ho for a good many years and I can assure you that there are few in the world more humble than he. He does not advertise his humility, but if you could see the enormous collection of Humility Awards on display in his home you would be quite amazed how just one man could earn so much adoration. |

| I too feel that it is a terrible tragedy, and I too am a confirmed atheist, and cannot therefore believe in praying. A complete waste of time as far as I am concerned, but if it turns some people on I respect their right to do it. ----------------------------------------- Gustav Mahler is the finest composer who ever lived. |

| I was a confirmed atheist until I experienced the calling and became galvanised.
