We went to Oxford last week and took a few photos while walking around. Some good historic buildings. The Bridge Of Sighs: The ceiling of the Bodleian Library: A closer look: Keble College I think this is one of the towers of All Souls College:

All good photos, Mart but I particularly like the Bodleian ceiling, it's beautiful.

Funnily enough, I took those using a phone. I think they are better exposed than if I'd used my camera.

| Good photos Mart. I'm always amazed at the detail and effort that is put into these kind of buildings. ----------------------------------------- Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol!

Perhaps there wouldn't be the skills around these days that could construct/decorate a ceiling the way this one has been done?

I ought to rectify an error. The ceiling shown isn't that of The Bodleian Library. It is the ceiling of The Divinity School. There, I feel much better now. :)

Love old buildings, they don't build such lovely places anymore, the buildings today have no character. Like looking at your photos Mart
