I need several aliases in order to run the forum effectively Understand Malcolm but surely if I were to befriend Linda and send private email and confide in you is that not a bit sneaky. I am pleased you have been transparent though as I thought for sometime this was the case. I have just tried to recruit a member I knew from another forum. Finally we managed to contact via private emails . It appears the management if they see a link in your email delete it. One forum owner I temporary modded for told the board he could read emails. Unfortunately for him most of us were female and he had his ears boxed I also understand emails have to be stored due to content and threats, which I agree but if a mod were to dislike you would be then be unresponsive to reports from yourself. Not a critism of Murgatroyds as you have always been open. |

Members who have not logged in this year have been removed from our site.
This means that you may have lost some 'Friends' from your profile page and other areas of the site.
It does also mean that as you browse our site and interact with members they are far more likely to reply :)
I do find the number of members who just sit in the background odd as I thought a forum was to chat to other member.
Anyone have thoughts I had this email from them too. I only log in there to retrieve the odd message from a 'friend' ... otherwise, I find that site pretty boring |

I was relatively new to forums oh yes and another American site no longer part of that either. I just feel safer if people stuck to their user name. My ex posed as a women. I sussed him as I recognised his writing style. :stormy: |

| I tried it back in the 1960's Goldie but it didn't do anything for me so I tried Peyote cactus. That was much more fun! :;smile: ----------------------------------------- Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol!

| I first heard about Peyote in Aldous Huxley's book "The Doors of Perception". My flatmate and I were very scientific about our experiments. Only one of us at a time would imbibe the other looked after him in case, and we taped the comments. I still have my transcript.. ----------------------------------------- Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol!

| :;smile: Well why not Davo - it was a long time ago! It took about 3/4 of an hour all recorded on one of those things with miles of tape going from one wheel to another- remember them? :;smile:
The parrot closes his one good eye
He is the blue of sapphire
From deep inside the stone
Where the light starts.
(Pause)
It almost hurts to look at him
His colour is his thing
He is nothing else
(Pause)
There is nothing but the window
And the parrot and his blue
No room-No people
But beautiful faces
I love you
(Pause)
I can see so far- so far
Seeing is happiness on a cloud
My cloud is soft and blue
With spectrum edges
(Long pause)
People-people
Way down below my blue cloud
All looking up
All slack jawed
(Pause)
I can see so clearly
I can recognise them almost every one
They see me
But they don’t know me
I am their sun
So bright
I hang in their sky
Smiling to them
Closer, closer
(Pause)
They are dead I know
And I cry for them
I can feel tears on my face
The world cries -
So many tears
(Pause)
Sparkle…..sparkle
I know your face
I love you
You are happy like a lover
Oh you’re beautiful to see with
(Pause)
The evil fades
By smiling at it
It is green and is nothing
I smile- I love you, evil
Even you
It melts to oil bubble colours
Stretch and squeeze
Stretch and squeeze
(Pause)
I wish I was a soap bubble
And I am
My feet and my hands
I can’t see
But I feel the inside
Of the bubble
It is soft but strong
Oh God oh Ottawa
It’s a long way down
I’m not here am I
Worry? No!
(Long pause)
I know where I am
But my senses don’t
I smile and say I love you
I’m not afraid
Not now because I know. ----------------------------------------- Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol!
