Lucky Horse Shoe

This is a true tale - which is why I found it hilarious.

My wife's sister (who I don't really get on with) collects horse brasses and has them hanging round one of her fireplaces.  Libby and I were browsing an Antique shop last Saturday and Libby bought her sister a lucky horse shoe to add to her collection.

Her sister came over for dinner this evening and had her thumb all bandaged.

It transpired she hit it with a hammer while hanging up the lucky horse shoe.

I cracked up when she told us.

 Must have hung it upside down! That's a no-no!

It's her birthday soon - I'm going to buy her another lucky horseshoe and a left handed hammer so she can hit the other thumb.
