| .......for the weekend on Friday. Started packing today, we take everything that we are ever likely to need in case of emergency plus enough clothes that would last the average person a fortnight. Three nights away from home....two suitcases and at least four other bags along with handbags of necessaries that we may need in the car for the journey. |

| Just had a look at the website. It looks interesting. Have you been there before?
I used to live in Kinmel Manor Abergele, in the mid 70's. Don't think it's far away. ----------------------------------------- ..

| We've been there lots of times Irene, usually twice a year. It's easy for us to get there, the accommodation is good, the food is excellent and plent of it. All in all a great place for a weekend break. There is also very good evening entertainment which we never take advantage of....my wife being totally deaf makes it difficult for her to mix socially. |

| Malcolm
What a coincidence - we are going there on 8th Feb for 2 nights. Enjoy your stay - we have always done so previously.
If I recall correctly - they don't have evening entertainment every night though.
We went to Warners Alveston Hall last year and there were 2 coach loads of people from Manchester staying there. They completely took over the dance floor doing sequence dancing - so being bloody minded we did the same - but going in the opposite direction. It was almost mayhem, I thought it hilarious but for some reason they didn't.
Snowdon is not on the agenda at this time of the year though. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. | The forum will work fine without me, although I will be taking my Samsung Tablet with me, so I can keep an eye on things. |
