| We have been looking at parched earth for the past year with er in doors planting many plants here and there and then having to either water by hand or I to redirect some reticulation here and there.
and then the wet season - before Xmas was parched when I returned after the whole site had been transformed into a lovely green velvet carpet of something - not quite sure what but I love the color.
in many places in OZ the deserts bloom for a short time and then gone again. In one of our local Indigenous dialects Yorro Yorro - everything standin up straight and alive. |

| When I lived in Bahrain we used to drive into the desert about 3 days after it had rained - albeit not much rain - and there were crocus flowers all over the low lying parts, They would last just a couple of days before the sun and blown sand saw them off and they would vanish back below the surface. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm.
