| I never knew until Carrie fisher died that Debbie Reynolds was her mum.
Sad, for both of them. And yes, agree with you both .... it's tragic when a child goes before their parent. |

| I have an 'old' school friend who lost her daughter on Boxing Day a few years ago. I just want to go and hold her during the Christmas period. ----------------------------------------- ..

| Is it not somewhat sad when anyone dies - especially for their family.
So why is it treated as more sad when it is a so-called celebrity or politician or criminal.
I don't get it.
I realise that this post may be controversial - but I just don't understand why a morning paper has to devote 4 whole pages and the BBC 15 minutes to the death of a so called celebrity like George Michael, yet not give a single centimetre of column, or minute of broadcast time, to Arnold Waithraite, the famous Yorkshire puddle treader, who went blind and tragically drowned in a lake. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. If I have accidentally offended you - please contact me and I will unreservedly apologise. If however it was intentional - it will add to my pleasure. |
