I try and have porridge a few days a week. Good combination andsome

Chilli con carne with plain boiled rice for us today along with some bruschetta from Aldi for a bit of crunch !

Cantonese meal tonight with my bowls club.

Chicken roast potatoes, stuffing home made, carrots,  runner beans . Nice thick gravy.

Thanks.  It's a great little restaurant.  We will sit at several tables each with a rotating thingy, and they will bring dish after dish and load the table for us all to help ourselves to as little or as much as we want from each offering. We will then finish off with banana fritters and ice cream, or lychees and ice cream.  All for £10 per head.

A leg off Sag's Uncle Oink has just finished roasting to have cold later with salad.

Roast pork, boiled spuds, carrots, broccoli, cabbage and loads of gravy
Rice puddin' to follow.

Their special a platter  of locally caught fish with Canarian  potatoes and sauces  umh :;smile:

Shepherd's pie today containing lamb, grated carrot & parsnip topped with  colcannon (mashed potato & cabbage) and the whole thing topped with toasted sesame seeds. Served with marrowfat peas & gravy
