What's on your menu today

Just had a hammer sandwich. Paella  for lunch

Cod, chips & mushy peas today with some bread & butter (a chip buttie calls).

Pork chops, dauphinoise potatoes, a la Jamie Oliver, broccoi and carrots with bread and butter pudding made with brioche for afters.

Cold roast lamb and salad

Stir-fried beef, fresh egg-noodles, steamed asparagus and tender-stem broccoli.

Pork and noodles all done in the wok. Nice cool melon, cheese and biccies  to finish off

Turkey sausages, hash browns and a courgette. The courgette was sliced, shallow fried in olive oil with an Oxo crumbled over the slices.

Stir fry king prawns today.

Salmon and tuna fish cakes, parsley sauce, chips, sugar-snap peas

Something cooling for lunch. Spaghetti  Bolongnaise with home made naan bread. Enjoy yourself folks 

Last of the cold roast lamb with a salad.

Probably salad with something simple. Followed by frozen fruit with plain yoghurt.
My salads now consist of 

Spring onions
Peppers
Tomatoes
Small amount of lettuce or occasionally wt cabbage

Bought another very large corn fed chicken the other day to last us over several days in different guises.

Today it will be roasted and we will have roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots & parsnips, pointy cabbage and gravy. Might have stuffing as well.

Just about to have a late breakfast. Croissant, warm with assortment of jam. Fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt. Cuppa

I had my usual porridge made with whole rolled oats,and with lots of blue berries
